Richard Dingemans

Richard Richard Dingemans (Dutch, 1971) started his career in 1996 in the investment management department of AXA Life Assurance. In 1998, upon the establishment of AXA Investment Managers, he took on the role of quantitative analyst and portfolio manager Balanced Mandates where he was given joint responsibility for asset allocation. From 2001 he was based in AXA´s London office in the post of investment manager global equities. In 2003 he joined AEGON as portfolio manager Japanese equities. In 2005 his fund received an S&P nomination for the best Japanese equity fund.

Richard graduated in 1995 from Delft University of Technology with a MSc in Chemical Engineering. In 2000 he completed the VBA Investment Analyst course.

 

Hans van der Heiden

Hans Hans van der Heiden (Dutch, 1958) started working for a predecessor of AEGON in 1981 and held many positions since. In his many years he was Head of Operations, Information Manager, Moderator and Consultant on many major business projects. Hans joined Pelargos Capital in 2008. His major responsibilities are information technology and business processes.

Hans graduated with a BA in Business Economics from The Hague University of Applied Science in 1987.

 

Michael Kretschmer

Michael Michael Kretschmer (Austrian, 1974) started in 2001 as portfolio manager at Robeco. After having been responsible for various sectors and regions Michael was given sole responsibility for the Global Industrials Fund in January 2005. In 2007 Michael managed his fund out of the Robeco Boston office. He joined Pelargos Capital in April 2008.

Michael has a background in Engineering and graduated in 2000 from the University of Economics in Vienna. His majors were Financial Markets and Econometrics. He also studied at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and the VU University in Amsterdam. In 2005 Michael received his CFA charter. He is currently enrolled in the Chartered Market Technician program.

 

Kees Rigter

Kees Kees Rigter (Dutch, 1951) started work in 1979 as an analyst at Amro Bank. In 1986 he joined AEGON as portfolio manager European equities, and changed to the Asian region in 1991. With the expansion of the team in 2000 he was appointed team coordinator and in that capacity was also jointly responsible for the regional allocation of the equity team. In 2006, Lipper proclaimed his Pacific Fund the best fund for the region. Since 2007 Kees also managed an Asian long short equity portfolio.

Kees graduated in 1978 from the VU University Amsterdam with a MSc in economics.

 

Patrick van de Laar

Patrick Patrick van de Laar (Dutch, 1970) started work in 1994 as an analyst at the EOE Options Exchange in Amsterdam. He was responsible for the development of derivates, the management of indices and their marketing. In 1998 he joined Asset Management at Kempen & Co, where he established the project management department as well as heading the Mid Office. In 2006 he joined AEGON Asset Management as a program manager with responsibility for strategic planning and the coordination of projects. In 2007 he established the Derivatives & Hedging department and was project manager for the establishment of Pelargos Capital B.V. and its funds.

Patrick graduated in 1994 from the University of Tilburg with a MSc in Economics. In 2000 he completed the VBA Investment Analyst course. In 2006 he obtained a MBA from the London Business School.

 

Lai Yin Lee

Lai Yin Lai Yin Lee (Chinese/Dutch, 1974) started in 1998 as portfolio manager assistant and trader at Robeco. From 2000 onwards she was responsible for the equity investments for the mid-size pension insurance company, OPTAS. In 2008 she started to work for Pelargos Capital as member of the Operations Team.

Lai Yin graduated in 1998 from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam with a MSc in Finance. In 2005 she completed the VBA Investment Analyst course at the VU University Amsterdam.

 

Roelof Salomons

Roelof Roelof Salomons (Dutch, 1972) started in 1997 with the Royal Philips Electronics Pension Fund as portfolio manager Japanese equities. In 1999 he joined AEGON where he initially held similar responsibilities and in 2002 added emerging market portfolios to his brief. In 2003 he was given responsibility for Investment Strategy. In this role he to a large extent determined the strategic, cyclic and thematic vision of AEGON and was responsible for its asset allocation. In 2007 he returned to the equity teams to manage the Japanese portfolio and the Asian long short equity portfolio.

Roelof graduated in 1997 from the University of Groningen with a MSc in Econometrics. In 2000 he completed his CFA. In 2005 he received a PhD in Economics from the University of Groningen, where he lectures on Institutional Investment Management.

 

Yaowei Xu

Yaowei Yaowei Xu (Chinese/Dutch, 1976) started to work in 1999 as Media Planner with the Grey Global Group in Guangzhou, China. In 2001 she joined Leo Burnett Worldwide, Inc. as Marketing Strategist responsible for marketing Procter & Gamble brands. In 2004 she joined ABN AMRO Asset Management in The Netherlands as Risk Manager. In 2006 she was given responsibility as Portfolio Manager with focus on the Telecommunication and Utilities sectors for the Global Emerging Market Equity, where she later co-managed the ABN AMRO Global Emerging Market Equity Fund and Eastern Europe Equity Fund. In May 2008 Yaowei joined Pelargos Capital.

Yaowei graduated in 2004 from Nyenrode Business University with a MSc in Financial Management. She is currently enrolled in the CFA program.

 

Neeradj Gangapersad

Neeradj Gangapersad Neeradj Gangapersad (Dutch, 1984) aligned to Pelargos Capital in 2009, where he is active as a member of the Operations Team.

Neeradj graduated in December 2008 from the Erasmus University where he obtained an MSc in Business.
