Pelargos believes firmly that the combination of secular growth stories, volatile markets and still many under-researched ideas presents a lot of opportunities to generate alpha in Asia.

Our principal products include an Asian and a Japan Long/Short equity fund. We aim to have low volatility, limited market correlation and liquid positions. Over the course of the business cycle, our funds seek to have low net and gross exposure. As such our funds are perfectly suitable for professional investors seeking absolute returns or adopting portable alpha strategies.

Our investment philosophy is based on the firm belief that markets are inefficient. True long-term success comes from the ability to distinguish value from price.

The edge of our investment process is the focus on fundamental analysis, both from a top-down as bottom-up perspective. However, the main strength of the investment team is our experience: to know when to pull the trigger. We can and will trade with conviction.
